ASTR 101

A one-semester introduction to astronomy for non-science majors. It does not include a lab component, but students observe through telescopes on designated observation nights

ASTR 103/104

Two independent one-semester introductory courses for non-science majors, on Solar System astronomy, and extrasolar astronomy, respectively. Both include a lab component.

ASTR 325

Introduction to the physics of celestial object. Topics will include formation, structure and evolution of stars, the physics of the interstellar medium, stellar remnants, galaxies and the large-scale structure of the universe.
