Ole Miss physicist leads million-dollar laser exhibit

An Ole Miss-led astronomy outreach exhibit premiered at the World Science Festival in New York City.

A University of Mississippi professor served as principal investigator for a $1 million astronomy outreach program that premiered at the World Science Festival in New York City. The exhibit introduced visitors to gravitational-wave science and the laser technology used to detect signals from distant cosmic events.
