Gravity and astrophysics at UMiss

Uli Sperhake (PI), Emanuele Berti, Vitor Cardoso and Frans Pretorius (Co-PIs) have been awarded a renewal of the NSF TeraGrid grant PHY-090003 for a total of 1,500,000 CPU hours (500,000 hours on the NICS Kraken cluster and 1,000,000 hours on the SDSC Trestles cluster). This brings the total amount of Teragrid computing time we got so far to 4,500,000 core hours. Stay tuned for more exciting black hole collisions!
